The Macy's Del Amo event was SO fun! Cupcake and I danced to the funky sounds of Choo Choo Soul! Look how many people came out!

As always, Genevieve and DC were amazing. I love their music. Their songs "Bullet Train," "Vegetables" and the "ABC Gospel" are some of my favorites! Someone even won a Skoodlez computer at the event. Check back soon to see who!

Splish splash Kingston and Cupcake are taking a bath! Swimming at the University of Florida!

Ahh! Who likes to swim in university fountains? The Skoodlez! While Cupcake and I were traveling through the University of Florida, we saw this fountain and decided to take the plunge!

Cupcake loves the water and swimming. In fact, I think she learned to swim before she learned to walk. Haha! Me, on the otherhand, I like to bathe in the sun.

Howdy y'all!

Can you guess where Cupcake and I are now? Hollywood! Our biggest dream of all is coming true... we're trying to become movie stars!

Hollywood is filled with famous actors, warm weather and creative students. We have visited St. Bernadette Elementary School, St. Michael's and Celerity Troika. Although we have had a blast writing stories and reading with kids all of Los Angeles, we are even more excited for our big party at Macy's at Del Amo Fashion Center on Saturday, November 15.

Cupcake and I will be dancing the afternoon away with Disney's educational singing group Choo Choo Soul! We will start the concert and interactive reading and writing party in Macy's at 2 p.m. and we will be there singing, dancing, reading and writing until 4 p.m.

We know we will have a great time, so wont you come out and have fun with us too?

Fun in Phoenix!

Hello everybody! Do you have any idea how long it takes to drive all the way from Dallas, Texas to Phoenix, Arizona? We drove for almost an entire day, and finally arrived in Phoenix! Cupcake and I had so much fun during our trip. We went through the sandy desert, saw huge mountains and listened to country music!

We met so many kids in Arizona because we were able to visit not just one, but two children's hospitals! First, we went to the Phoenix Children's Hospital. It was so big! The kids at the hospital told us that one day the hospital would be the biggest in the entire country!

Then, on Thursday, we went to the John C. Lincoln Hospital and had so much fun. Cupcake and I even got to bowl with the kids, sang songs and danced!

Dallas, Texas is a great city! It's full of cowboys, delicious salsa and great writers!

Yesterday, we visited the Dallas Children's Medical Center. The kids were so nice and so happy to see us. We pulled our cart of Skoodlez toys around and passed out one toy to every child. Everyone was so grateful. What a fun day!

New Orleans is a land filled with jazz music, friendly people and best of all, dinner plates with lots of crawfish! Scrumpcious!

In New Orleans, we visited elementary schools, where kids wrote lots of great stories. One school told ME a story! It was a Halloween story called "Screechy, Scratchy!" It was so scary but, had a funny ending.

Before we left, Cupcake and I hung out at Boo at the Zoo! It was hosted by the New Orleans Children's Hospital. We passed out hats and played with kids. There were some cool costumes!

When I grow up, I want to go to a prestigous university! Imagine, everyday you get to read books and learn neat things! It would be a dream come true!

Cupcake and I visited a couple schools in Florida while we were there. After we visited the University of Florida, we decided to take a dip in the fountain. So refreshing!

Goodbye Mickey!

This week, we stayed in Orlando, Florida, home of warm weather, lots of readers and Disney World! We had a busy 7 days.

We visited four elementary schools to write and read stories with elementary school students. Check out Skoodlez.com to see all the great stories the kids wrote!

All the book drives at the schools collected more than 700 books for the Arnold Palmer Children's Hospital in Orlando! Wow!

When we visited Arnold Palmer, the kids were thrilled to receive all the books and the Skoodlez toys! Cupcake and I walked around the hospital and visited everyone. Everyone was super friendly and nice. Sometimes it can be a little scary when a six ft tall lion roams your halls but, I promise, I'm the nicest lion you'll ever meet!

Yesterday, on Saturday, we held another Skoodlez party with Choo Choo Soul at Macy's! We had the biggest crowd ever! I even had the chance to dance to the Hokey Pokey before Choo Choo Soul came out. I think I did a great job!

What a fun week! We're headed to New Orleans now. Cupcake is sleeping on the bus. She's wiped from our week of excitement. Writing all those great stories all week can wear you out!

Skoodlez and Choo Choo Soul party at Macy's!

I love Choo Choo Soul! On Saturday, Choo Choo Soul performed at our Macy's Skoodlez party! Me, Cupcake and all the kids who came were dancing the whole time! My favorite song is the "Steam Train" because it talks about the Japanese Bullet Train! I want to go to Japan so bad! Check out the video below of everyone dancing!

Our next Macy's event is in Orlando, Florida at The Mall at Millenia on Saturday, October 18th! Choo Choo Soul will be performing again and Cupcake and I will both be there! It's from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. You should join us! It's going to be a lot of fun!

150 books, even more smiles!

On Friday, Cupcake and I visited the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston. We brought all the books we collected during the week. We collected more than 150 books! I'm sure all the kids are really going to love reading them.

In addition to donating books, we gave every kid a Skoodlez toy! Everyone got to choose their favorite Skoodlez. They were really excited!

Everyone was smiling and had a great time. Cupcake and I really enjoyed ourselves! All the kids at the elementary schools we visited should be really proud of themselves. 150 books! That's amazing!

Cary Reynolds Elementary School

I love Atlanta! Southern people are so nice! Today, we visited Cary Reynolds Elementary School and wrote some great stories with the students. I picked out my favorite one to show you! It's about how Cupcake and I first met!

One day when Kingston was walking to animal school, he met a hippo named
Cupcake. She was a pretty, pink hippo. I think Kingston liked her. It was like
he had hearts in his eyes. They walked to school together. When school was over, they decided that they would be best friends forever!

Traveling Down South

Guess where Cupcake and I are? The state is in the south and is known for its peaches. It starts with a "G". Are you done guessing?

We're in Atlanta, Georgia! We're visiting schools all week long to collect books for the Children's Healthcare at Egleston. While I'm here I can't wait to eat a peach. Cupcake really wants to drink some sweet tea.

This weekend we're going to Macy's at Lenox Square Mall. I cannot wait! My favorite band, Choo Choo Soul is going to play. I love their music! Cupcake loves to dance, so she'll probably be in the front row. If you're in the Atlanta area this weekend, October 11th, come out to Macy's at Lenox Square Mall to meet me, Cupcake and Choo Choo Soul at 12 p.m.! It's going to be so fun!

Sightseeing at the Capital!

Today, Cupcake and I went sightseeing! We got to see the Capital, the White House and the Washington Monument. The Washington Monument is so much taller than any of the jungle trees in Skoodlezville!

I tried to wave to the President Bush in the White House but, I don’t think he was home.

I was so impressed with Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary School in D.C. Do you know who else was impressed? The Washington Times! They wrote an article how awesome the kids at MLK Jr. are for donating so many books. Great work kids!

Kingston and Cupcake at the Capital

I feel so patriotic! Cupcake and I are visiting Washington D.C., our Nation’s Capital!

We’ve been going to elementary schools, writing and reading stories with children. Today, Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary School gave more than 600 books! Wow! That’s the most books yet! The kids as D.C. United Children’s Hospital are going to love reading them!

Later this week, Cupcake and I are going to take pictures around D.C. Cupcake and I really want to go to see the Lincoln Memorial! I can’t wait!

Kingston and Cupcake visit Schneider’s Children’s Hospital

Cupcake and I visited Schneider’s Children’s Hospital on Long Island last Sunday and had a blast! We got to visit all the children and passed out Skoodlez toys. All the kids giggled, smiled and laughed! It was a good time.

With the coins that came with the Skoodlez, all the children will be able to access Skoodlez.com to write and read stories. Each floor has a playroom with computers, so I hope they get to write a lot of stories!

Next, we’re off to visit schools in Washington DC!

Napping in Central Park

Today, after school let out, I went to

Central Park to read some of the books the kids gave during the book drive. The sun felt so good that I took a nap instead. I’m going to read the books tonight before we drop them off to the children’s hospital tomorrow.

After, I woke up from my nap, I was so hungry. I love New York City because there are a lot hotdog and pretzel stands on the streets. I bought a pretzel! It was delicious!

I can’t wait to visit Schneider Children’s Hospital tomorrow. Guess who’s going with me? Cupcake! She’s back from her vacation! Yay!

Kingston in the Big Apple

It’s going to be a fun week! I’m going to schools in New York City all week to collect books for the kids at Schneider Children’s Hospital. One of the nurses told me the kids love reading, so I’m sure they’ll be excited when Cupcake and I bring them their books!

Reading at the Roosevelt Field Macy's

I’m so tired! We just finished visiting lots of children at the Long Island Macy’s! It was such a fun time! Not only did I get a lot of high fives from my cool new friends but, we got to read and color together! Kendyl, my tour buddy, read my story to the kids at story time. I think everyone really liked it when I acted out the scenes.

Macy’s was so cool! Too bad Cupcake couldn’t come. She was visiting a friend in Hawaii. My new kid friends got to color, read with me and play fun games. Lucky for me now I get to nap again, check out a couple of the pictures while I rest!

Yawn! What a great nap! This is my third nap for the day. When you’re going on a nationwide tour, it’s important to get enough sleep! Cupcake would call it “beauty sleep”.

I’m so excited! We just found out that after our the Macy’s Skoodlez party on Sunday, September 14th at 3:30 p.m., we get to visit two schools during the week! We’re visiting the Elysian Charter School in Hoboken, New Jersey and Central Park East II Elementary School in New York City! It’s going to be so fun meeting all the kids! If they’re nice, I’ll let them brush my mane! I’m bring books to read to the kids, laptops so they can check out Skoodlez.com and a big card that they can sign for the kids at the children’s hospital. It’s going to be a great time!

I love our new bus! It looks so neat! It’s very bright, just like Cupcake. I posted a picture below of me stepping out of it. I can’t wait to travel across the United States in it!

Cupcake just got her driver’s license, so she drives a little wild. As long as she obeys the school crossing guards when we visit schools, I won’t complain.

Yawn! I’m getting tired again. Tonight, Cupcake and I are logging onto Skoodlez.com to write stories. Cupcake said that if we write a story about a princess traveling across the U.S. than she would brush my mane.

It’s going to be a fun night!

Welcome to the Skoodiculous Skoodlez Mobile blog! This is Kingston, Skoodlez’ friendly and loveable Lion! Here, we’ll be sharing our adventures and stories as we travel across the United States in our brightly-colored Skoodlez Mobile!

What are we doing? Cupcake, the fashionably-hip Hippo, a few of our human friends and I will be traveling across America, visiting children at their schools to teach them that creative writing is fun and exciting!

At each school, we’ll be collecting books for children’s hospitals. If you bring us a book, we’ll give you a special Samoleez coin, which you can use to visit Skoodlez.com. At Skoodlez.com you can write stories and hang out with all the Skoodlez characters, all day, every day! While I’m not napping (my favorite hobby) I’m always on Skoodlez.com because it’s so fun!

After hanging out at schools during the week, we’ll be throwing Skoodlez-themed parties at Macy’s. Visit our Web site to find out if we’ll be at a Macy’s near you.

After we’ve collected lots of books from all the school children, we’ll be visiting children’s hospitals to hand out the books you gave us. The books are really going to make the kids smile! If Cupcake can slip in some pink nail polish, she’ll probably try to give the girls in the hospital makeovers because when she’s not writing stories, she’s applying nail polish. She’s such a princess! I told her that the hospitals have strict security, so the nail polish plan probably won’t work but, Cupcake will probably still try.

Our big tour starts on Sunday, September 14 at 3:30 p.m. at the Macy’s at Roosevelt Field Mall in New York City. Come out to see us! I’ll teach you how to roar like a lion!
